About The Event

STONEBURNER (Negative Gain)

Steven Archer is no stranger to the dark electronic/rock scene with his other long-running projects; Ego Likeness, and Hopeful Machines. One of the hardest working guys in the scene, Steven will be releasing his 5th album with NGP. Most of his material is sans-vocals, building an arsenal of tribal rhythms and electronic undulations that would make the people of Arrakis lose control. Steven Archer is a multifaceted musician, artist and writer. He is best known for his work with the electronic rock band Ego Likeness (Metropolis Records) as well has is abstract electronica project ::Hopeful Machines::. Stoneburner is his vision of the music and philosophy of Frank Herbert's Dune book series. The forthcoming album "The Agony Box" will be release in the summer of 2017.

Die Sektor (Official) released their first album ‘To Be Fed Upon’ on the harsh industrial label Noittek in 2006. After several week of topping the DAC and a handful of shows in the U.S. and Mexico, Die Sektor went on a long hiatus while Scott starting putting together material that would advance and not copy dark electronic music. In 2010 they released the genre bending album ‘Applied Structure In A Void'. For many fans in the genre of Industrial ‘ASIAV’ raised the bar as far as the quality and songwriting that could be done with dark electro industrial music.
After several shows across the US Die Sektor began to gain a reputation for intense, exciting and powerful live performances. In 2012 Die Sektor released the extremely emotional and dark album ‘The Final Electro Solution’. Die Sektor set out on a US tour to support the album, gaining fans and raising the craft of electro shows to new levels. Through 2011 and 2012 Die Sektor remixed bands on almost every industrial label across the globe and has built a strong reputation as one of the top remix producers in the genre.

In 2013 Die Sektor put the final touches on a new studio album titled ‘(-) existence ‘. The new album has been touted as the final chapter in ‘The Void Trilogy’ made up of ‘ASIAV’ and ‘TFES’. (-) existence became the most critically acclaimed album from Die Sektor to date. In 2014 Die Sektor did their first European tour starting and then toured the U.S. again. After three U.S. tours in 2015 and 2016 Die Sektor is finishing up their next studio album 'Death My Darling I'

FIRES (Metropolis Records)

This is the ethos behind FIRES, new project from Eric Sochocki (Cryogen Second, Becoming The Devourer), which sees a return to his dance roots. However, this return is not to familiar territory, as FIRES does not opt for political warnings entrenched in post-apocalyptic imagery, as seen in Cryogen Second, or towards the esoteric and ephemeral, like Becoming the Devourer. Instead, FIRES is a direct reach inward and expressed in pop melodies, electronic rock, and nods to the retro-futurism of Synthwave.

FIRES began in August of 2016 and the first single (Counting Walls) was released in October of 2016, and quickly began circulating throughout the US industrial scene. A second single (To Be All Alone) was released a few weeks after. In early 2017, the band signed to Metropolis Records to release FIRES' debut album, Red Goes Grey, in September of the same year. This album can trace its musical lineage directly to industrial acts like Imperative Reaction, Aesthetic Perfection, and Alter Der Ruine, while taking pieces from modern Synthwave producers like Carpenter Brut, S U R V I V E, and Vogel.
